Basis of our fixed fees
When a fixed fee applies
If a matter becomes more complicated, urgent or time-consuming than anticipated — for example further documents are required or the application needs to be expedited — we reserve the right to charge in addition to the agreed fixed fee. We will always tell you in advance where fees will exceed the agreed fixed fee.
Our fixed fees are quoted on the basis that:
- You provide the documents and information we request in a timely manner
- We have at least 96 hours to prepare an application from receipt of the full information and documents requested
- You are content for the application to be processed in standard UK Visas & Immigration time frames
- No unforeseen complications, conflicts or emergencies arise
- The value of the actual time we spend on the matter does not exceed our estimate
- The details and information you provide are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge
Legal aid
On a very low income? Legal aid may be available.
Legal aid means you do not have to pay for your legal costs. We have been awarded contracts by the government to provide legal aid, but it is only available in limited circumstances and most areas of law are now out of scope. Ask us and we will tell you whether it is available for your case.
- *All hourly rates are exclusive of VAT.
- **In some limited circumstances we may charge a premium hourly rate above the standard rate — for example where we are instructed very late and must work to extremely tight deadlines or outside normal office hours.
- ***Immigration fees are typical quotes published under the SRA Transparency Rules. Your quote will depend on your circumstances and will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
